The President of UOKiK is monitoring whether there may be breaches of the provisions the Act on Competition and Consumer Protection in the flood-affected areas.

Last year, UOKiK audited 27 demonstrations taking place all over Poland, during which companies offered their products to consumers.

Over 950 decisions concerning protection of competition and consumers, nearly PLN 430 million in fines imposed.
